NEECA Fun Day 2009
I wish to extend my "Thanks" to NEECA.
For one who does not show, whose horses rarely see the inside of a show arena. Well, this was an exceptional day for both myself and also Satch &
Mystery. ...Especially Mystery.
Mystery is a hulk of a boy, and a locomotive of power. And yet, he is a "Toddler", a 4 year old.
He is soft hearted, and is in training. And being able to bring him to open events such as NEECA Fun Day, gives him experience. Maturity is slow to
come, for sure not overnight. It's time and seasoning.
I heard not one word of dis-approval when he acted up. What I did hear was kindness and encouragement. That meant a very great deal to myself, as I
am also not a schooled equestrian.
I am so appreciative for the support shown, and the kindness.
Please extend my thanks to the NEECA membership. For there was a very talented group of both folks and horses. And what shown through the most,
in my judgement... was a spirit of comradery that was a pleasure to be a part of.
Sincerely, Alan Rochette
Following are some pictures taken at our recent Fun Day. Please note, more pix to follow as our "on the scene photogs" send them to
me. Directly below is an email received from NEECA member Alan Rochette sharing his thoughts after spending his very first "Fun
Day" with us. Alan's email sums up, better than we ever could, what the Fun Day is all about. Many thanks to all of our volunteers and
participants who came out to share this very special day with us.
