Lake Dennison Spring Trail Ride Pictures
When you're trudging through 18 inches of snow, in sub-zero weather during the winter, to clean frigid horse stalls, break the
ice off the top of frozen water buckets, etc., you may stop a moment and ask yourself, "Why do I put myself through this?"
Then you remember days like this, with your horse and friends, and you know why........
Hi,
I just wanted to say yesterday's Lake Dennison ride (and in
our case drive) was great. The weather couldn't have been
better. It was my mom Evangeline Dupuis' first time
participating in a public horsey event and she LOVED it.
She's 80 years old! She was laughing out loud as we trotted
over some of the road ruts! She loves driving and nature and
I'm glad she got to experience Dennison for the first time
doing something she loves. Here is a picture of her driving
my mare Dagny. I know the event wasn't planned with
drivers in mind, but without the cart my mom could never
have participated. Thanks for not turning us away!
Sincerely
Patty Dean
Many thanks to our "on the scene" photogs, Mike Seitz & Alan Rochette, for providing us with these great memories.
